Charminar 

Charminar, constructed in 1591, is a monument and mosque located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The landmark has become a global icon of Hyderabad, listed among the most recognized structures of India.

English name is a translation and combination of the Urdu words Chār and Minar or meenar, translating to "Four Pillars"; the eponymous towers are ornate minarets attached and supported by four grand arches.

Mecca Masjid 

Mecca Masjid (Arabic: مسجد مكة‎‎, Urdu: مکہ مسجد‎, Telugu: మక్కా మసీదు), also Makkah Masjid, is one of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad, Telangana in India, and it is one of the largest masajids in India.

Makkah Masjid is a listed heritage building in the old city of Hyderabad, close to the historic landmarks of Chowmahalla Palace, Laad Bazaar, and Charminar.


Laad Bazaar

Laad Bazaar (Telugu: లాడ్ బజార్, Urdu: لاد بازار‎) or Choodi Bazaar (Telugu: చూడి బజార్, Urdu: چوڑی بازار‎) is a very old market popular for bangles located in Hyderabad. It is located on one of the four main roads that branch out from the historic Charminar.

This market is very old, in operation since the time of the Qutb Shahis and the Nizams. It is close to landmarks such as Charminar, Makkah Masjid and Chowmahalla Palace .


Chowmahalla Palace

Chowmahalla Palace or Chowmahallatuu (4 Palaces), is a palace of the Nizams of Hyderabad state. 

It was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty and was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad while they ruled their state. The palace remains the property of Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah, heir of the Nizams.


Salar Jung Museum

Salar Jung Museum is an art museum located at Darushifa, on the southern bank of the Musi River in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Salar Jung Museum houses the largest one-man collection of antiques in the world. 

 Golconda Fort 

Golkonda, also known as Golconda, Gol konda ("Round shaped hill"), or Golla konda, is a citadel and fort in Southern India and was the capital of the medieval sultanate of the Qutb Shahi dynasty (c.1518–1687), is situated 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) west of Hyderabad.

It is also a tehsil of Hyderabad district, Telangana, India. The region is known for the mines that have produced some of the world's most famous gems, including the Koh-i-Noor, the Hope Diamond and the Nassak Diamond.

Qutb Shahi tombs

Qutb Shahi Tombs are located in the Ibrahim Bagh (garden precinct), close to the famous Golkonda Fort in Hyderabad, India.

They lie about a kilometre north of the outer perimeter wall of Golkonda Fort and its Banjara Darwaza (Gate of the Gipsies, or itinerant merchants), amidst the Ibrahim Bagh.

Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot. The construction took 10 years and was opened in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission.  

The temple was constructed by Birla Foundation, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir.

Snow World

Snow World is an amusement park located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India within an area of about 2 acres (0.81 ha). Located beside Indira Park and along the Hussain Sagar lake, the park was inaugurated on 28 January 2004.

On 28 January 2004, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the facility. Though it was not intended to be open for visitors on that day, some of them ventured into the facility. They experienced giddiness for inhaling excess nitrogen in the air, which is used to produce snow.

Jalavihar Water Park

Jalavihar is a waterpark located in Hyderabad, Telangana, (India) within an area of about 12.5 acres (5.1 ha). Located beside Sanjeevaiah Park and along the Hussain Sagar lake, the park was inaugurated on 20 May 2007. 

R. J. Rao, a non-resident Indian, and a group of individuals funded the 220 million (US$3.3 million) in a public-private partnership model with the local tourism department. The department sanctioned a land of 12.5 acres (5.1 ha) on the Necklace Road abutting the Hussain Sagar lake for this project.

Lumbini Park 

Lumbini Park is a small public, urban park of 7.5 acres (0.030 km2; 0.0117 sq mi) adjacent to Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad, India. India named after Lumbini of Nepal dedicated to Lord Buddha. 

Since it is located in the center of the city and is in close proximity to other tourist attractions, such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, it attracts many visitors throughout the year. Constructed in 1994, the park is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority that functions under the directives of the Government of Telangana.  

Falaknuma palace

Falaknuma is a palace in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It belonged to the Paigah family, and it was later owned by the Nizam of Hyderabad.

It is on a 32-acre (13 ha) area in Falaknuma, 5 km from Charminar. It was built by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra, prime minister of Hyderabad and the uncle and brother-in-law of the Nizam VI, Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan Bahadur.

Hussain Sagar 

Hussain Sagar is a heart shaped lake in Hyderabad built by Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah in 1563, during the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometers and is fed by River Musi.

A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. It also separates Hyderabad from its twin city Secunderabad.

Ramoji Film City (Telugu: రామోజీ ఫిలిం సిటీ) in India is located in Hyderabad. At 1633 acres, it is the largest integrated film city in the world. 

It holds the Guinness World Records for being the largest film studio complex in the world and measures 674 ha. 2000 acres)

Nehru Zoological Park

Nehru Zoological Park (also known as Hyderabad Zoo or Zoo Park) is a zoo located near Mir Alam Tank in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.  

It is one of the most visited destinations in Hyderabad. Zoo hours vary by season, and the zoo is closed on Mondays.
